Only a 20 minute fast catamaran ride from Townsville, Magnetic Island is just off the Queensland northern coast. Enjoy the resort's surroundings, located right next to the new harbour and marina precinct and only a short walk to a number of restaurants, cafes, boutique shops and attractions or take a tour of the island and explore.
How to Get Here
Breakwater Ferry Terminal is located at Sir Leslie Thiess Drive, Townsville - open daily from 6am to 6pm (excluding Christmas Day). Ferry tickets to Magnetic Island can be purchased online or at the terminal. Departure times start from 5:30am to 10:30pm. Car parking is available starting from $7.50 per day for a standard vehicle (price subject to change without notice). The car park has adequate lighting but is not fenced.
